About

I am an English soprano, studying with Linda Richardson. I'm a recent Masters graduate from the Royal Northern College of Music. My studies were generously supported by the Laurin & Arthur Glaze Trust and the William and Frances Dobie Charitable Foundation. My recent roles include Aunt Norris in Dove’s Mansfield Park, Ida in Strauss’ Die Fledermaus and a Hen in Janáček’s Cunning Little Vixen.

My recent performances include Rossini’s Petite Messe Sollenelle in France, traveling to Norway to celebrate the coronation of Charles III and perform Ligeti’s Requiem at the BBC Proms in the 2001 a Space Odyssey programme (Prom 36).

Recently I sang in masterclasses with Dame Ann Murray, as part of the Smallwood Masterclass Series with Professor David Owen Norris and with Jasdeep Singh’s cross-school residency on Indian classical music.

In February of this year I sang as part of the Bridgewater Hall’s The Hallé Presents: Steve Reich Desert Music under Collin Currie’s baton and The Hallé Orchestra.

While on my gap year, I auditioned for conservatoires, taught keyboard skills, music theory and singing to young musicians while also fulfilling my roles as the Senior Music Scholar and Music Administrator at St- Mary-le-Tower Church.
